If you have been following the Kobas blog in 2018 then you will have learned that we take data protection very seriously.
Whilst these may not have been the flashiest of updates that we’ve put out over the years, they have helped put our users in control of their personal data and ensure that our clients remain compliant with the incoming legislation; automating the process as much as possible.
This latest update will see us ‘drink our own champagne’, so to speak, and use the power of Kobas Cloud to help us remain compliant with GDPR ourselves, when it comes to our monthly newsletter. Traditionally sent to users within the top permission levels of each Kobas account, these emails detail all the latest updates to our platform, as well as tips, tricks and ideas on how to get the most out of your Kobas subscription.
To ensure compliance with the GDPR, we will be asking all of our users to give clear consent to receive these communications, effective from Wednesday 16th May. Upon your first login to Kobas Cloud after that date, you will be greeted with an opt-in form to the image above. If you are interested in receiving our updates then you can simply click “yes” and you’ll be added to our new mailing list. Remember – you can opt-out at any time using the unsubscribe links included in each of our emails.
